Maidstone Spartans — Come and Try Rugby
Are you in Year 9 and currently looking for a friendly place to try a new sport? Join Maidstone Spartans and play rugby with a welcoming group of players from Maidstone and the surrounding areas.
From September to May we train on Wednesday evenings, concentrating on skills, fitness and teamwork; matches take place on Sunday mornings against local clubs, and we also enter county competitions, friendlies and tournaments across the season.
We play full 15-a-side rugby and make room for every kind of player and every skill level. Newcomers receive supportive coaching and the chance to develop their skills while taking part in games alongside teammates.
Our priority is to help players build a lifelong love of the game by making training enjoyable, challenging and inclusive. Our experienced coaching team and supportive club community are committed to providing meaningful opportunities for young people to get involved.
We’re a sociable bunch who love building team spirit beyond the game. From team days and Twickenham trips to ending the season with a legendary Tour, we make sure there’s plenty of fun and bonding off the pitch too.
