As one of the oldest clubs in the country, founded in 1880, Maidstone Rugby Club has a rich
history and tradition that we continue to uphold. Join us in celebrating the spirit of rugby and the
camaraderie it brings.
MAIDSTONE RUGBY YOUTH SECTION
PLAY TOGETHER, LAUGH TOGETHER, BE TOGETHER
In the Maidstone Under 12’s (Year 7), our volunteer coaches have a wide range of experience at
all levels of club rugby. They bring a wealth of advice to our developing players, working on the
introduction of the “skills and values of rugby” with adaptive drills, core skill circuits and
conditioned games.
We focus on helping our players learn to develop the key rugby traits of good sportsmanship,
teamwork, self-discipline as well as developing their own confidence and respect for others in a
positive and supportive environment. We have an enthusiastic team of players of mixed ability
and we welcome any and all new players seeking to explore the game. So please feel free to
bring your child along to give the club a try!
WHEN: Sundays 10:00 – 11:30 (training/games), and Wednesdays 18:00 – 19:00 (training).

If your child is interested in seeing what we’re all about, please come along to one of our training
sessions. (Note: We also play away fixtures some Sundays, so please contact one of the below
